Creating fishing memories of a lifetime
About us
Experience the thrill of sturgeon fishing with Bent Hooks Fishing Adventures!
Sturgeon fishing is an exciting experience and a great activity for all skill levels. Whether you're spending time with friends or family, or on a corporate trip, you will enjoy thrilling fishing and scenic views. Our excursions take place near Vancouver, where beautiful mountains surround the Fraser River, home to some of the oldest and biggest sturgeons in the world.
Don’t worry if you are new to this, our professional guides will show you how to hook into a river monster and then hang on! Included is all the fishing gear, bait and amenities to have an awesome day on the water.
Local guide and company owner, Walter Togeretz, has a passion for fishing in the Fraser Valley region. He has over 20+ years of salmon and steelhead fishing on local rivers and over 10+ years of sturgeon fishing. Walter is your guy to help you hook into some of the hardest fighting freshwater fish in the world.
In 2024, Walter and 3 guests hooked into an absolute catch of a lifetime during a Bent Hooks guided trip. Imagine a sturgeon that is 11’6” and weighs over 800 lbs. and 100+ years old. Truly an unbelievable experience, you can read more about it here.
Walter's goal is to create fishing memories that will be remembered and talked about for a long time. It is always a highlight of his day to get clients hooked into one of these prehistoric fish, and the sheer joy and excitement of reeling in these powerful fish never gets old.
When Walter is not on the river he can be found enjoying the surrounding outdoors: hiking or snow shoeing the local mountains, walks along the river, riding his motorcycle, or enjoying time with his family.
